Composition
Each kg of Tiamulin 45% contains:
450 grams Tiamulin.
Mechanism of Action:
Tiamulin is a semisynthetic and bacteriostatic antibiotic to control mycoplasmosis in poultry. In addition it is effective on many gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Tiamulin inhibites protein synthesis in bacteria and kills them.
Indications of use
Tiamulin is used to treat and control of Mycoplasmosis and effective on Streptococcus, Clostridium, Haemophilus, Actinobacillus, Pasteurella, Fusobacterium, Bacteroides and Campylobacter etc.
It can be safely used for breeders without decreasing in production or hatchability.
Dosage and route of administration
Prevention:
Chicks: 100 grams of Tiamulin 45% in 400 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days in first week of life
Broilers: 100 grams of Tiamulin 45% in 400 liters of drinking water for 2-3 days after any stress or vaccination.
Treatment: 100 grams of Tiamulin 45% in 200 liters of drinking water for 3-4 days after incidence of clinical signs.
It is best to solve Tiamulin in some lukewarm water and then add it to main tank.
Storage conditions
Keep under 25° C, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
Withdrawal Time
Turkey: 5 days before slaughter.
Table egg: None
Broilers: 48 hours
Drug interactions:
Don’t use with Monensin, Salinomycin and Naracin simultaneously.
