Composition
Each liter contains:100 g Enrofloxacin
Mechanism of Action:
Enrofloxacin Rooyan 10%® kills microorganisms by inhibiting their DNA-gyrase activity.
Indications of use
Treatment of infections in broilers, layers and turkeys infected with gram negative, gram positive bacteria as well as Mycoplasmas sensitive to Enrofloxacin including Mycoplasmosis (CRD and CRD complex), Colibacillosis, Infectious coryza, Infectious Synovitis, Campylobacteriosis, Salmonellosis, Pasteurellosis, Chlamydiosis. Also infections due to Staphilococcus and Erysipelothrix.
Dosage and route of administration
One liter of Enrofloxacin 10% oral solution in 2000 liters of drinking water for 3 days.
In Salmonellosis and complex or chronic infections, 1 liter of Enrofloxacin 10% oral solution in 1000 liters of drinking water for 5 days.
Medicated water should be used on same day of preparation and no other water given during treatment period.
Contraindications:
Not recommended in Streptococcal infections.
Do not use in case of bacterial quinolones resistance.
Side effects:
No side effects if used as recommended.
Drug interactions:
Do not use simultaneously with Tetracyclines and Macrolides. Also do not use with
non-steroidal antiinflammatories. Using with products containing Calcium, Iron, Magnesium and Aluminium reduces Enrofloxacin absorption.
Withdrawal Time
9 days for broilers and layers. 11 days for turkeys.

Keep out of reach of children.
Storage conditions
Keep in cool place, Store between 10-25°C. Protect from direct light, in closed containers.
