Composition
Each ml contains: 100 mg Enrofloxacin sodium
Mechanism of Action:
Enrofloxacin is a broad spectrum antibiotic which exerts its effect with inhibition of DNA gyrase enzyme resulting bacterial death. It is absorbed rapidly and will be effective by means of above mentioned mechanism with high permeability on gram negative and gram positive bacteria such as staphylococcus and mycoplasmas.
Indications of use
Treatment of infections in all avian species infected with gram negative and gram positive bacteria as well as Mycoplasma, E Coli, Campylobacteria, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Chlamydia and all bacteria sensitive to Enrofloxacin.
Dosage and route of administration
10 mg Enrofloxacin per kg body weight daily.
Poultry: 0.5 to 1 ml Enro Plus S® solution in 1 liter of drinking water for 3 to 5 consecutive days under veterinarian supervision.
Avian Pet: 2 ml Enro Plus S® solution in 1 liter of drinking water under veterinarian supervision (in psittaciformes the dosage can be increased to 5 ml in 1 liter of drinking water according to veterinarian advice).
Notice:
Each puff equals 1ml.
Storage conditions
Keep in dry place, under 25ºC and Protect from direct light. Well closed after use.
It must be protected from freezing.
Withdrawal Time
The drug must be withdrawn 9 days in fowl and 11 days in turkey before slaughter.
Using of this product in the layers (which the eggs are used for human consumption) is forbidden.
Drug interactions:
Like as other floroquinolones, it interferes with cations, florfenicol, macrolides and tetracyclines.
Precautions
Keep out of reach of children. Diluted solution must be consumed maximum 24 hours after dilution.
