Composition
Each liter of Doxyten Rooyan® contains:
100 grams Doxycycline
Mechanism of Action:
Doxyten Rooyan® is a broad-spectrum antibiotic which inhibits bacterial protein synthesis and is effective against Gram negative bacteria such as Pasteurella spp, Salmonella spp, E.coli and Gram positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus (aureus), Streptococcus spp, Clostridium spp, and some of other microorganisms like Mycoplasma, Rickettsia, Chlamydia and some protozoa.
Indications of use
Treatment of poultry diseases such as Colibacillosis, C.R.D and Mycoplasmosis.
Dosage and route of administration
0.5-1 ml Doxyten Rooyan® per 1 liter of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days. The medicated water must be the only source of drinking water.
Side effects and interactions
Long term use of Doxyten Rooyan® may change the digestive system micro flora. Absorption of Doxyten Rooyan® may be reduced by simultaneous use of medications containing Calcium, Iron and Magnesium.
Contraindications
Do not use in laying hens during laying period.
Withdrawal Time
5 days before slaughter.
Storage conditions
Keep in cool place, Store between10-25°c. Protect from direct light, in closed containers.
