Each ml of oral solution contains 486 mg pure sodium salicylate
Sodium salicylate belongs to NSAIDs and has anti-inflammatory, pain relieving and antipyretic effects. It inhibits cyclooxygenase enzyme so reduces prostaglandin production.
This molecule is absorbed rapidly and completely and it has hepatic and renal excretion (about 13% as conjugated or unchanged). Half life of this medicine for one time usage in lower doses is 2 to 3 hours and in higher doses will be 5 to 18 hours.
Sodium salicylate is used for treatment of mild to moderate pains, fever and osteoarthritis.
Poultry:
As antipyretic and pain relieving : 20 ml of the product for each 1000 kg of live poultry body weight (about 500 ml of the product in 1000 liters of drinking water) one or two times per day.
For reducing prostaglandin production (anti-inflammatory in infectious diseases): 115 to 120 ml of the product for each 1000 kg live poultry body weight (about 3 liters of the product in 1000 liter of drinking water) one time per day.
Store in dry place and under 25 C° and keep away from direct light.
Keep out of reach of children.
Storing of the product for long time and under 4 C° is resulted in quality reduction.
