Each gram of the product contains 1.5 million unit which is equal to 469 mg Spiramycin (adipate).
Spiramycin is a member of macrolides calss then is classified as bacteriostatic antibiotics. This drug can inhibit protein synthesis by bacteria eventually prevent growth and life cycle of bacteria. Effective spectrum of this antibiotic includes:
– Gram positive bacteria:
Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.
– Gram negative bacteria:
Haemophilus spp., Rickettsia spp., Mycoplasma spp.,
Spiramycin is indicated in chicken and turkey to control and treatment of the diseases caused by above mentioned bacteria specially Mycoplasmosis, Infectious Sinusitis, Infectious coryza, Necrotic enteritis, Fowl cholera and Infectious synovitis.
1 – Poultry: 380 g of active spiramycin in 1000 liters of drinking water which is equal to 800 g of the product in 1000 liter of drinking water as below:
– Turkeys from day old for 5 days.
– Broilers from day old for 3 days and repeat it in 4 weeks of age.
– Pullets from day old for 3 days and repeat it in 9 and 16 weeks of age.
2 – In CRD cases:
– Turkeys 3 days treatment
– Chickens 3 days for treatment, after vaccination for 1 to 2 days.
Keep in dry place, under 25 celsius degrees and away from direct light.
Keep out of reach of children.

To prevent any irritation or sensitization specially in eyes, wear working overall, protective gloves and antidust mask while mixing or dissolving of the powder in the water.
In case of any contact with eyes, rinse them with plenty of water.
Prevent any contact with skin strictly. Thighten the sachets after working.
