Product properties

Composition

Each g of Bacitracin 10% Contains 100 mg Bacitracin methylene disalicylate.

Mechanism of Action:

Bacitracin inhibits peptidoglycan synthesis in bacteria by nonspecifically blocking phosphorylase reactions, some of which occur during cell wall synthesis.

Indications of use

It is indicated for treatment of Necrotic Enteritis (NE) caused by Clostridium perfringens or other bacteria sensitive to Bacitracin in poultry. Also it can be used for better recovery after coccidiosis involvement.

Dosage and route of administration

For treatment of NE: 60-100 grams in 100 liters of drinking water for 5 to 7 days.

For improvement of coccidiosis treatment and ameliorating of the stress effects:

60-100 grams in 100 liters of dirnking water for 4 to 5 days.

For treatment of NE in turkeys: 100 grams in 100 liters of drinking water.

Contraindication:

Bacitracin must not be used in animals with kidney failures and those who are sensitive to Bacitracin.

Precautions

Keep out of reach of children. Wear glasses and gloves during using the product. Whole powder in the sachet must be used during 48 hours after opening (after this time, efficacy of the active ingredient dicreases gradually).

It must be used under veterinarian supervision.

Bacitracin 10% has different packaging for costumer convenience to choose suitable packaging related to the number of the birds in the flock.

Refrain using of Bacitracin together acidifiers or any pharmaceutical products which acidifies water.
