Each ml contains 10 mg doramectin
Doramectin, a long lasting and broad spectrum endectocide, is a member of the macrocyclic lactone class. Doramectin acts as an agonist of the GABA (gamma-amino butyric acid) neurotransmitter in nerve cells and also binds to glutamate-gated chloride channels in nerve and muscle cells of invertebrates. In both cases it blocks the transmission of neuronal signals of the parasites and leads to death of parasites.
Since flukes and tapeworms do not use GABA as a neurotransmitter doramectin is ineffective against these parasites.
Doramectin is effective against many internal and external parasites.
Doramectin treats and controls gastrointestinal round worms, lung worms, suckling lice, mange mites, screw worms, single host ticks, nasal worm, sheep scab and itch mites and aids in control of blow fly.

Overdose of product leads to neurologic symptoms such as depression and ataxia.
The sterile condition during the injection should be considered.

When doramectin comes in contact with the soil, it readily and tightly binds to the soil and becomes inactive over time. Free doramectin may adversely affect fish and certain water-borne organisms on which they feed. For this reason dispose the empty containers in an approved landfill or by incineration.
