Product properties

Composition

Each ml contains 100 mg Closantel Sodium.

Mechanism of Action:

Closantel is a synthetic anti-parasitic agent which is highly effective against liver fluke, bloodsucking nematodes and larval stages of some arthropods in sheep and cattle. Closantel decouples the mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, which leads to the inhibition of ATP synthesis. That causes a significant change in the energy metabolism and as a consequence the death of the parasite.

Indications of use

The preparation is an anthelmintic drug and is effective against a wide range of ectoparasite and endoparasite (trematodes, nematodes, grubs).

Cattle: Bunostomum bovis, Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola gigantica, Haemonchus placei,

Haemonchus contortus, Oesophagostomum radiatum and Hypoderma bovis

Sheep: Chabertia ovina, Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola gigantica, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Haemonchus placei, Haemonchus contortus and Oestrus ovis.
