Indications of use
Treatment of calf, lamb and foal diarrhea.
Dosage and route of administration
Add the contents of one sachet (100 g) to 1 liter of lukewarm water. Stir until dissolved.
Lambs: Feed 25 ml solution made up as directed, twice daily for 3 consecutive days.
Calves & foals: Feed 250 -500 ml of solution twice daily for 3 consecutive days.
Withdrawal Time
Meat: 20 days
Contraindications:
It is contraindicated in case of severe hypersensitivity reactions to aminoglycosides. The Concurrent use of this drug with other aminoglycoside and vitamin B12 is not recommended.
The drug should not be used in animals with intestinal obstruction.
Precautions
Co-administration of neomycin with antibiotics of the beta-lactam group (penicillin and cephalosporin) exacerbates the effect of neomycin, so in these cases, prescribe the drug with caution.
Adequate water should be provided consistently during the treatment period and replacement of lost electrolytes should be considered.
The drug should not be used more than 3 consecutive days.
The drug should be administered in animals with renal impairment more cautiously.
