Each ml contains 100 mg of Oxytetracycline and 20 mg Flunixin(meglumine)

Oxytetracycline inhibits the growth of bacteria via attachment to amino acyl transfer RNA on the surface of the 30s ribosomal subunit. Then this agent is bacteriostatic. Also Oxytetracyclines alter the permeability of the cell wall of the bacteria through the attachment to 50s ribosomal subunit. In this way the antibacterial effect of product is augmented more. On the other hand it reduces transformation of glutamate to cellular proteins resulting in growth inhibition.

Flunixin(as Meglumine), like other NSAIDs inhibits cyclooxygnase enzymes and though prevents prostaglandins and thromboxane synthesis leads to reduction of pain, fever and inflammation.Flunixin doesnot change gastrointestinal movement and can improve blood circulation in animals suffering from septic shock.

Combination of these two active substance improve their activity in treatment of bacterial infectious diseases .Oxytetracycline in this combination has more distribution in compare with single usage.

– Control and treatment of infectious disease that are sensitive to Oxytetracyclinespecially in diseases with  fever, pain and inflammation

– Treatment of respiratory infections specially caused by pasteurella spp. with severs inflammation.

– Treatment ofacute  mastitis with oedema.

– Treatment of gastrointestinal infections.

– Treatment of metritis with fever and pain.

This medicine is indicated by deep intramuscular injection and in severe cases may be through slow intravenous injection.

Dosage is1 ml/10 Kg of bodyweight (equals to 100 mg of Oxytetracycline and 20 mg of Flunixin) for 3 to 5 consecutive days based on the veterinarian advice.

Do not inject more than 20ml at one site

Meat: 28 days

Milk: 7 days

– Do not use in the late stage of pregnancy.

– Do not use in horses

– Do not use with other NSAIDs concomitantly.

Long period of usage can lead to gastrointestinal ulcer.

Keep out of reach of children.

– Do not store above 25 °C.

– Keep in dry and protect from direct sunlight.

– Use the rest of vial contents after the opening the seal in 28 days.
