Bromhexine (as Hydrochloride)       1000 mg

Mechanism of Action:

Bromhexine is a benzyl amine with expectorant property. This drug increases secretion of mucus and helps to dilute mucus secretions to excrete from the respiratory tract and causes faster recovery. Bromhexine increases bronchial secretions and yet probably stimulates lysosomal enzyme activity and thus breaks the strands of mucopolysaccharides so reduces mucus viscosity. Bromhexine improves cell membrane permeability and elevates level of immunoglobulin in bronchial secretions.

Menthol is extracted from mint plants. It has a cooling effect when inhaled and used for nasal congestion.
