Each ml contains 100 mg Marbofloxacin.
Marbofloxacin is a synthetic and bactericidal antibiotic from fluoroquinolones which acts by inhibition of DNA gyrase. Marbofloxacin is effective against broad spectrum of bacteria contains gram positive and gram negative and also mycoplasma.
Respiratory diseases because of Mycoplasma bovis, Pasteurella multocida, Mannhemia haemolytica, Histophilus somni. Coliform mastitis during lactation, Metritis and calves diarrhea
For treatment of respiratory infection: 8 mg/kg BW equal to 4ml/50kg BW in a single
intramuscular injection. Volume more than 20 ml should inject in two or more sites.
For treatment of Mastitis, Metritis and Calves diarrhea: 2mg/kg BW equal to 1ml/50kg daily for 3 to 5 days with in subcutaneous route. First dose can be administrated by intravenous route.
Intramuscular administration may cause local reaction at the injection site and muscular inflammation could results in necrosis.
Subcutaneous administration may cause temporary edema and pain.
Intramuscular: Meat and offal: 3 days, Milk: 72 hours
Subcutaneous: Meat and offal: 6 days, Milk: 36 hours
Do not use in animal showing hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones or Marbofloxacin.
Do not use in animal showing resistance to other fluoroquinolones.
Store at room temperature (below 30° C).
