Each ml contains: 100 mg Enrofloxacin sodium
Enrofloxacin is a broad spectrum antibiotic which exerts its effect with inhibition of DNA gyrase enzyme resulting bacterial death. It is absorbed rapidly and will be effective by means of above mentioned mechanism with high permeability on gram negative and gram positive bacteria such as staphylococcus and mycoplasmas.
Enrofloxacin is used for treatment of simple and complex infections due to gram positive and gram negative bacteria and mycoplasmas in the fowl and turkey like as CRD, Coli septicemia, Fowl cholera, Infactious coryza, Salmonellosis and other bacterial infections sensitive to enrofloxacin.
500 to 1000 ml of the solution for 1000 litre of drinking water or 10 mg of enrofloxacin sodium per kg body weight for 3 to 5 days can be used according to veterinarian advice.
If the birds are involved with Salmonllosis or Pasteurollosis, treatment period must be 5 to 10 days.
Keep in dry place, between 10 to 25ºC and away from direct light and in closed containers.
It must be protected from freezing.
The drug must be withdrawn 9 days in fowl and 11 days in turkey before slaughter.
Using of this product in the layers (which the eggs are used for human consumption) is forbidden.
Like as other floroquinolones, it interferes with cations, florfenicol, macrolides and tetracyclines.
Keep out of reach of children. Diluted solution must be consumed maximum 24 hours after dilution.
