Composition
Diflo Rooyan® (Pump)
Each ml contains:
100 mg Difloxacin (as Hydrochloride)
Mechanism of Action:
Diflo Rooyan® is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic and exerts its effect by inhibition of bacterial DNA – gyrase activity.
Indications of use
Diflo Rooyan® is effective on Mycoplasma, gram negative and some gram positive bacteria. It is drug of choice for treatment of E.Coli, pasteurella and Mycoplasma infections.
Dosage and route of administration
10 mg Difloxacin per kg body weight daily.
Poultry: 0.5 to 1 ml Diflo Rooyan® in 1 liter of drinking water for 3 to 5 consecutive days under veterinarian supervision.
Avian Pet: 2 ml Diflo Rooyan® in 1 liter of drinking water under veterinarian supervision (in psittaciformes the dosage can be increased to 5 ml in 1 liter of drinking water according to veterinarian advice).
Notice: Each puff equals 1ml.
Contra-Indications:
To prevent drug residue in eggs, do not use Diflo® in laying hens during laying period.
Withdrawal Time
One day
Drug interactions:
Diflo Rooyan® has no interaction with other veterinary drugs including coccidiostats and can be used simultaneously.
