MEGA Dox 20®

Each liter of Megadox® contains: 200 grams Doxycycline hyclate

Megadox® is a broad spectrum antibiotic that binds to 30 S subunits of ribosome in microorganisms and inhibits protein synthesis (it is a bacteriostatic antibiotic). It is effective on gram negative bacteria like Pasteurella, Salmonella, E.coli and some gram positive bacteria like Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Clostridium and Mycoplasma, Richettsia and Chlamydia.

Megadox® is used to treat or prevent Colibacillosis, CRD, Synovial infections, Blue comb disease, Pasteurellosis, Necrotic enteritis, Infectious coryza, Salmonellosis and Staphylococcus infections.

Broilers: 10 to 20 mg pure doxycycline per live Kg body weight in drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days (it is equal to 43 to 87

mL of the product for 1000 Kg live bodyweight daily).

It must be calculated based on dosage and usage duration

Broilers: 3 to 12 days

Laying hens: Should not be used.

Sensitivity to Doxycycline and GIT disorders like diarrhea.

It must not be used with cationic chemicals, Beta lactams and Florfenicol simultaneously.

Keep out of reach of children.

Keep away from direct light and under 25° C. Keep in dry place with tight cap.
