Composition
Diflo Rooyan®
Each ml contains:
100 mg Difloxacin (as Hydrochloride)
Mechanism of Action:
Diflo Rooyan® is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic and exerts its effect by inhibition of bacterial DNA – gyrase activity.
Indications of use
Treatment of chronic respiratory infections in chickens and turkeys caused by sensitive strains of Escherichia coli and Mycoplasma gallisepticum (CRD complex). In turkeys it is also indicated for treatment of infections caused by Pasteurella multocida.
Administration & Dosage
10 mg Difloxacin/kg body weight or 500 ml Diflo Rooyan® solution in 1000 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Medicated water should be fully used on the same day of preparation.
During medication, only medicated water should be given to poultry.
No additional chlorine or hydrogen peroxide should be added to medicated water.
Contra-Indications
To prevent drug residue in eggs, do not use Diflo Rooyan® in laying hens during laying period.
Withdrawal Time
One day
Drug interactions:
Diflo Rooyan® has no interaction with other veterinary drugs including coccidiostats and can be used simultaneously.

Storage conditions
Keep in cool place, Store between 10-25°c. Protect from direct light, in closed containers.
